Protests in Bangladesh continue against the forthcoming visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. People of different classes and professions in the country, especially the scholars, have been vocal against the visit.
Public opinion is being raised against it in various districts and upazilas along with the capital Dhaka. On Saturday, protest rallies and rallies took place in front of the mosque at the Saltha Bazar Central Zam, without the Tawhidi people of all levels of the Saltha upazila of Faridpur district. At the end of the rally, a procession ended at the Upazila Square in the south core of Bajaur. In the meantime, they condemned the killing of Muslims in Delhi, and gave various slogans against Modi. They called for canceling Narendra Modi's visit.
Earlier on Friday, thousands of Muslims from the northern courtyard of Baitul Mukarram held a protest rally against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Dhaka after Friday prayers. They announced a humanitarian program across the country including Dhaka on Thursday, March 12. After the Asr prayers in Dhaka, the human chain will be from Jatrabari, Sadarghat to Tongi.
Addressing a rally held on the banner of all Islamic parties on Friday, Maulana Nur Hossain Kasemi said, "Modi will not be allowed to come to Bengal's land." At any cost, his arrival will be prevented. ”He urged the Dhaka University, BUET students and Tawhidi people to participate in the March 12 Humanitarian Day. He said the next program would be announced that day.
India's democratic environment, including Kashmir, has been in peril during Modi's tenure. After the passage of the CAA, there has been a threat to Muslim civil rights. On top of that, public opinion against Modi is being raised all over the world to kill Muslims in Delhi.
