Bangladesh ready to commemorate the language martyrs

Today is February 21st - International Mother Language Day. On this day, the whole nation is ready to pay tribute to the martyrs of the great language of Bayan. Preparations have been completed at the Shaheed Minar premises in Dhaka University premises.



In the Shaheed Minar premises, artists are painting their colors by painting various alphabets and sayings on the wall.


The authority of the Dhaka University, which is in charge of the overall management of the Shaheed Minar, is taking the time to introduce the Ekushey. Proctor AKM Golam Rabbani of Dhaka University said, "We will accept all people at all levels. Thinking about the state formalities that are held at 12:01 am, we have arranged our event.


So far the entire Shaheed Minar premises and surrounding areas have been covered in security sheets. On Friday, the martyr's march will be attended by millions of people. There is a flawed system for security. From CCTV, the Dog Squad is all set.



RAB Director General Benazir Ahmed said, "We will be implementing basic security measures from Thursday evening; Which will remain till noon tomorrow. '


The President and the Prime Minister will be present at the premises of the Central Shaheed Minar in the tune of 'Ekushey in the blood of my brother', beginning at 12:01am. Then the members of the cabinet, the leaders of the political party - people from every level, from social, cultural and professional organizations.



And so the whole nation will once again pay homage to the martyrs of the language and take an oath to make the martyrs' dreams come true; To build their desired democracy and a just society.


On this day in 1952, the Language Martyrs Day is being observed in Dhaka today as the International Mother Language Day. This day is being celebrated in various parts of the world to pay homage to the mother tongue.
