-Hinds call for stop anti-Muslim propaganda in India
The controversy was centered around a religious gathering of Muslims in Delhi before the official lockdown was announced. Several Indian media have blamed Muslims for spreading the Corona virus in India. Hundreds of fake videos are also aired on social media. It also claims that Muslims are conspiring to spread the Corona virus in India.
Subsequently, some media were sued. An investigator accused the media of spreading Muslim hatred in India.
An organization called 'Jamiat Olama-e-Hind' has called for an end to anti-Islamic propaganda all over India. In a report to the Times of India today,In the High Court the Jamiate Olema-a- Hind said that an Islamic meeting was being attacked on the whole of India by excusing an Islamic meeting in the Nizamuddin area of New Delhi.
The wealth and freedom of Muslims in India has been threatened by such propogands. As a result, their rights were also violated, Ulama told the court.
The organization has appealed to the High Court to order the government of India to take strict disciplinary action against the media who are making false reports against the Muslim community in India.
Recently a conference of Tabligh Jamaat was held in the Nizamuddin area of New Delhi, the capital of India. About 9,000 people attended the conference. Some media have been campaigning against the entire Muslim community, blaming the conference for spreading the coronavirus. Capitalizing on that excuse, anti-Islam campaigns have spread widely throughout India, from some anti-Islam sites.
