The controversy was centered around a religious gathering of Muslims in Delhi before the official lockdown was announced. Several Indian media have blamed Muslims for spreading the Corona virus in India. Hundreds of fake videos are also aired on social media. An organization called 'Jamiat Olama-e-Hind' has called for an end to anti-Islamic propaganda all over India. The organization has appealed to the High Court to order the government of India to take strict disciplinary action against the media who are making false reports against the Muslim community in India.
