British Finance Minister Sajid Javid has resigned. He resigned, citing a British Prime Minister's order as unacceptable.
British media reported that Prime Minister Johnson had ordered Javid to be fired. In reply, Sajid said that no self-respecting minister could accept such conditions.
A source close to Javid said that Prime Minister Boris Johnson directed all the special advisers to be dismissed by Finance Minister Sajid Javid. They asked the Prime Minister to appoint special advisers in the office so that a team could be formed together.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson appointed Sajid Javid as finance minister after the first round was elected. He served as Home Minister in Theresa May's cabinet.
