The Supreme Court of India has informed the state administration that it has to answer all the questions raised in the context of 'restrictions' in Jammu and Kashmir. On Thursday, the petition was filed in response to the petitions filed by the court challenging the various restrictions imposed in the state.
A three-member bench headed by Justice NV Raman told Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, who appeared in the court on behalf of the Jammu and Kashmir administration, that the applicants challenged the restrictions and raised detailed questions and answered all the questions raised.
A Bench comprising of distraught NV Raman, R Subhash Reddy and BR Gavai said today: “Mr Mehta, you have to answer all the questions regarding the questions that have arisen in the detailed question of the applicants.
The court said the affidavit you submitted did not help us come to any decision. Don't do anything that we think you haven't paid enough attention to.
In the court, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta claimed that most of the applicants' argument was' wrong '. When he clears the court, he will answer everything.
The solicitor general said he had a status report in the state but did not submit it to the court. Because the situation in the state is changing every day. Tusha Mehta also said that he would submit the correct status report when he would be cleared in the court.
The Central Government of India imposed various restrictions on the administration of the state since the cancellation of Article 5, which had special privileges for the residents of Jammu and Kashmir on August 7. As a result, the people are suffering greatly. The central government, however, claimed that most of the restrictions were lifted from the state. Union Home Minister Amit Shah told the upper house of parliament on Wednesday that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is normal.
