Deal of the Century:
Ziyad Nakhail, Secretary General of the Islamic Jihad Organization of Palestine, and Musa Abu Marzuk, the leader of the Islamic resistance movement Hamas, met at a meeting in Beirut. Both leaders emphasized the need to address US President Donald Trump's racist proposal 'Deal of the Century'.
About three weeks ago, President Trump raised the controversial proposal. Apart from Prime Minister Netanyahu, the occupier of Israel, Ambassadors from several small Arab countries were present at the White House's announcement of the proposal. Three weeks after the proposal was lifted, it has reduced the differences between Palestinian political parties and organizations on the west bank of the Jordan River and the Gaza Valley, and strengthened the unity between Hamas and Islamic Jihad.
In recent years, several Arab countries that have compromised with the United States and Israel have been making great efforts to resolve conflicts between Palestinians. They have joined forces with Hamas and Islamic Jihad-led Gaza to disperse disputes over the west bank of the Jordan River under the control of self-government. But after the announcement of the 'Deal of the Century', unprecedented unity among Palestinians has been established.
Although there is competition between Islamic Jihad and Hamas in Gaza, the differences between them are very rare. Hamas condemned the killing of Baha'i Abu al-Ata, the leader of the Israeli Islamic Jihad party, last November. Significantly, the relationship between Hamas and the Islamic Hijad has been stronger than ever because of the "deal of the century" raised by US President Trump. They are all determined to thwart Trump's conspiracy. That is why Islamic Jihad Secretary General Yiad Nakhle and Hamas leader Musa Abu Marzuk said at a meeting last Wednesday that the 'Deal of the Century' will not be allowed in any way.
Observers say the only way to address the 'deal of the century' against the Palestinians is to continue their resistance against Israel. Both Yiad Nakhle and Musa Abu Marzuk have said that Palestine is united to counter Trump's plan. They expressed frustration with the support of several Arab countries to the plan, calling on the Arab nations to halt Arab governments' efforts to normalize relations with Israel.
In fact, the implementation of Trump's declared 'Deal of the Century' requires normalization of Arab countries' relations with Israel. This is why the two Palestinian leaders have advised the Arab people to be wary.
Deal of the Century - one of the worst hit on Middle East stability. Trump and Netanyahu want to abolish the political existence of the Palestinians. If the Arabs accept this, they will lose their rights.
