Foreign Minister of Pakistan Shah Mehmood Qureshi has called on the international community to take responsible action against the persecution of Muslims in India.
He said the rights of Muslims and other religious minorities in India are being violated publicly but nonetheless Western countries and international organizations demanding human rights remain silent. The Pakistani foreign minister said the policies adopted by the Indian government in regard to Muslims are turning to the most dangerous - the attacks and killings of Muslims, whose sole purpose is.
Recently Hindu Muslims protested against civil law, brutally attacked by Hindu activists, killed about 50 Muslims and injured hundreds more in violence. But the silence of the international community on Muslim genocide and the atrocities perpetrated in India has surprised everyone. In the Indian capital, New Delhi, a large number of people were killed when fierce pro-Hindu activists attacked Muslims who were protesting against civil law. But the international community has not uttered a word against it. The surprising silence is a green signal for the raging Hindus of India and they have become more and more desperate against the Muslims unitedly.
In an article published in the US Foreign Policy magazine, Professor Ashutosh Versheni of Brown University in America said, "The Muslim genocide in Delhi is completely pre-planned. It is said that these extremist Hindus have a direct relationship with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's radical policies. Narendra Modi was the chief minister of the Muslim genocide that took place in Gujarat in 2002. According to official reports of the horrific massacre in his presence, more than a thousand people were killed, most of them Muslims.
Apart from the recent massacre of Muslims in New Delhi, the extremist Hindutva has carried out at least 10 mosques and carried out mass destruction. Eyewitnesses say the police and security forces have not taken any action against the massacre against Muslims and have looked after them. In some instances, the police themselves have been brutally torturing Muslims by clashing with the raging Hindus.
Observers say the silence of the international community on anti-Muslim violence in India is very sad. On the one hand, the silence of international human rights organizations under the influence of the West, on the other hand, has led to the demise of Muslim countries in India. In this situation, the Islamic organizations of India and the Muslim countries of the world should warn the Government of India about the consequences of the continued persecution of Muslims. In the meantime, other officials, including the Islamic Republic of Iran's Supreme Leader, have strongly protested the Muslim killings in India.
